Normally the ICEM should start today 
and I was really ambitious to at least defend my trophy from last year or even finish one position higher. 
But due to the global pandemic and the second lockdown here in Germany, this year's edition has been cancelled. 
The situation is what it is, we have to accept it, adapt to it and make the best of it. 
And that's exactly what I'm doing right now. 
I'm just using the time to learn the complete d4 repertoire for white in chess with GM Sam Shankland's course on, but also working hard every day for my core business. 
Driving lots of laps in the simulator and challenging myself in fitness every day. 
I hope we can all get back to normal really soon and I'm so ready and hungry to bounce back then! Let's all have a good 2021 together!
