Benjamin Mazatis was seen in millions of German households in 2015. The public TV station BR (Bayerischer Rundfunk) showed a report focusing on the fascination of motorsport in the well-known sports programme ‚Blickpunkt Sport’. A BR reporter team accompanied Benjamin and two other drivers at the race track and at home.
The filming took place at the ADAC Formula 4 race weekend in Oschersleben as part of the DTM. The team then visited the 17-year-old in his home town of Bruckmühl. There, the reporters accompanied Benjamin during training and test drives in his own motorsport simulator. The programme ‚Blickpunkt Sport’ was broadcast on Saturday, 03 October 2015 from 17:30 to 18:00.
